On March 11, we will be going on a field trip. We will start at noon (instead of 12.10) since we will have a couple of international guests.
Experiment 4 — Found Imagery
We will be working with the concept of found imagery and how it creates a dialog when you layer your own work on top of it. Instead of using random found artifacts, we will use the platform open-collab.org. Next week’s class will be an open workshop with guests from around the world and hosted by the research project 45 Symbols.
You can find all the details on this open call website.
What to prepare? Think about your research topic and how it relates to the anthropocene, human impact on our planet, or any other visual traces. Create 5 visuals and a one-sentence statement. You’ll find examples on the workshop website.
